Distressed Debt & REO/Acquistions/Dispositions at High Desert Land Company

Sourced and underwrote more than 100 distressed asset acquisition opportunities as a consultant to individuals and private real-estate companies. Responsible for strategic guidance regarding deal structure, due diligence & financial analysis, project budgets, and development & implementation of strategies for project management and asset disposition. Conducted regular meetings with lenders, asset managers, attorneys, and investment partners.
Performed due diligence and feasibility analysis for four ground-up, self-storage projects for StorageOne, Nevada’s largest privately-owned self-storage company. Managed six-member team in the acquisition/disposition of in-fill property assemblages (commercial & apartment buildings and raw land) in Las Vegas for a variety of uses including single-family, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use high-rise. Participated as a partner in a dozen closings and managed many more on behalf of clients. Managed pre-development processes for projects, balancing the interests of owners, neighbors and community stake holders. Consulted regularly with City and County government (planning staff, public works department, city councilmen, county commissioners and quasi-governmental utility providers), engineers, entitlement consultants, lenders and investors.
